Natalie F. Guerra-Valdes, Esquire is a cum laude graduate of the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Ms. Valdes is admitted to practice law in all Florida state and federal courts, as well as the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Valdes has handled hundreds of cases all over the State of Florida and has extensive experience at both the trial and appellate level.

Ms. Valdes’s areas of expertise include: commercial litigation, real estate litigation, foreclosure defense, consumer protection litigation, family law, landlord/tenant law, securities litigation, and appeals.

Prior to founding Valdes Law Firm, P.A., Ms. Valdes was an associate at Blank Rome LLP, an AmLaw 100 firm, and represented the country’s largest financial institutions in litigations containing claims related to predatory lending practices, Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act (FCCPA), consumer fraud, failure to comply with Loan Modification Programs, wrongful foreclosure, and contested foreclosure. Before joining Blank Rome LLP, Ms. Valdes was an associate at Arnstein & Lehr LLP, one of the country’s oldest law firms. While at Arnstein & Lehr LLP, Ms. Valdes specialized in complex commercial litigation, municipal law, family law, and securities litigation.

While in law school, Ms. Valdes was a member of the Trial Team and Entertainment Law Review. She also served as an Associate Justice for the Student Traffic Court, Director of Attorney Relations and Vice President of The Corporate and Securities Litigation Group, and as Historian of the Spanish American Law Student Association. During law school, Ms. Valdes was also a Certified Legal Intern for the Public Defender’s Office in Alachua County. While interning at the Public Defender’s Office, Ms. Valdes represented clients charged with a misdemeanor in all stages of a criminal proceeding, including trial.

Ms. Valdes completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Miami, where she served as the Treasurer for Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Legal Society and was an active member of the Federacion de Estudiantes Cubanos (Federation of Cuban Students, or FEC). Prior to starting law school, and while attending the University of Miami, Ms. Valdes worked at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for three years. Her experience at the SEC formed the foundation for her law school career and equipped Ms. Valdes with the knowledge and tools to succeed in law school and in her legal career.

Ms. Valdes is a Miami native and is fluent in Spanish.
